TDF viewing - cable or internet?

Am I better off looking for a cable channel that will show the Tour de France, or try to figure out how to stream it via an internet connection?  I see that NBC Sports is going to cover it, but it doesn't give me a good feeling that cycling is buried down between horse racing and dog shows.  I currently have Comcast cable, and can add channels for a month to get  NBC Sports.  Suggestions?

I absolutely loved the TDF coverage from the NBC on the internet last year. Watching it streaming on my laptop at home via my comcast internet was superb. No complaints. Phil and Paul are quite subdued without all the commercials. All of the dumbing down for TV is mostly not shown on that broadcast. Great copter shots and castle shots all in hi-def. You can watch it whenever you want, fast forward whatever you want, etc. Best cycling coverage of any race anywhere by far.

Not sure I am going to watch much this year due to how much time I want to devote to other things and will miss the first view days while camping. It all depends if I get swept up in the racing or not.

I stay away from the headlines daily, record it and watch it at night, that way I won't have to listen to those stupid Road ID commercials. Far too many commercials. Worst than the NFL.

Eurosport feed all the way. What's not to like about Kelly's trenchant silence? And I'm pretty sure I'm learning a new language by listening to him (though which language it is, I'm not yet sure).

i was going to sign up for the nbc internet coverage but it says 'live' coverage. i'm assuming i can also watch the full stage at my convenience but it doesn't specifically say. in the past i've watched the full stage in the evenings. has anyone signed up and watched it later in the day? i don't want to spend the $30 until i know for sure.
