Andy Murray is Scottish, not English. If Scotland votes to secede, then Britain will have lost Wimbledon as well.

I just got back after being there for two weeks. No one seemed to really care about the TDF, but everyone was wetting themselves over Murray. Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland are considered part of England hence the name United Kingdom ruled and governed by one body. Being Scottish over there is like being from the North/South/East/West here.

For those two weeks I heard Cav's name mentioned in the headlines once and that was after winning stage five.
