Sorry it took so long to get back here and thank everyone for suggestions for our trip to San Francisco, back in December. What a city! We'll be back to visit for sure. Great food and drink! I really don't know how some of you climb those hills day after day. I had a hard enough time walking up some of them :-) Anyway, here are a few pics.

The Bay Bridge

Our transportaion

Some great buidings

Had to do Alcatraz (guard tower)

The graffiti in the mission district was amazing!

Hey it's a "safe" version of a Penny Farthing, with two back wheels. Love it!

Also, to jump on the bandwagon, nice pix. I too, like the night time bridge picture. Less common view.

Can any of you locals, tell me what type of bird this is? I'd like to note it in my journal.

I'll 'third' with the Starling designation. They are amazing to the point of transfixing when they fly in huge 'mobs' in the autumn and early winter.

Murmuration.....what a great word
