I bought another decades old Italian car. A 1985 Maserati Biturbo. No rust at all, doesn't run, interior is trashed, and the dash has been removed with wires hanging out everywhere. Cost? $750. I told my wife I should have it ready for her three mile commute in a couple of years.

Very cool, I hugely admire those who can do this as I have zero patience or skill myself. Awesome looking ride too.

On the commit me side, I signed up for another cycling adventure. Told the missus it be the last.

Good luck. Back when they had the clunker buyoff, the local news showed an almost perfect red Biturbo with a gorgeous interior. The owner was happy to collect since he said he was lucky to make it the dealer with the car running.

Damn! Cool, Nick.

Can you find me an early 70's GTV for the same price? ; )

That's going to be a lot of work. Good luck.

Started digging through the thing. Found a two page letter from one owner's lawyer threatening lemon law action against the Honda dealer that sold it as a used car. Only motivates me more. LOL.

It was originally sold here in NM.

I waste a lot of time window shopping on the Internet, and have gotten quite the rep for finding weird crap. All about being in the right place at the right time I guess. Then again, I may regret this...but I doubt it. I'll figure something out.

I'm not a gear head per se, but just seem to have a knack for figuring stuff out, and don't mind making mistakes as I do it. Well, occasional four letter rants...but hey.

Won't likely get started on it in any real way until next spring.
