The streets sure are becoming a deadly place here in the old pueblo. Getting more scary by the day to go out and ride. So many motorists not paying attention to the road, too busy looking at the phone in their hand. Thoughts and prayers to the families of these folks. http://www.kvoa.com/story/31383511/driver-faces-manslaughter-charges-after-hitting-5-cyclists

Yeah, well prayers don't do sh!t when people are dead.

Only societal pressure, legislation and enforcement will make a difference.

Each story is tragic but we need toi bear in mind thar risk for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers on per trip basis is about same. We simply tend to focus on cyclists more, creating perception but overall its no riskier.

Drunk and distracted driving should see criminal persecution and heavy handed sentencing. These are no accidents.

Killed a really well liked person from here in Santa Fe, Clare Rhoades, really nice lady, used to talk to her and work on her bike when I was at the shop, she was a very special woman in this community.
We all know it's crazy out there on the roads, but to get taken out just sitting at a light? That sucks
