Which drugs are made in the near east/ far east and sold here by the various pharmaceutical companies?
What about other countries... other than North America?

Not talking about bootleg stuff but drugs legit drugs.

Wow, Dale - that's a big question. I don't have all the answers. Pharma is a global enterprise, and most companies are multi-national. There are three main parts to drug manufacturing: Making the drug substance (aka API, or active pharmaceutical ingredient), making the formulated drug product, and packaging the drug product. Some pharma companies make the API in dedicated facilities, and others contract out. Many of the contracted API manufacturers are now in India or China where costs are low. Reputable companies maintain high quality standards, but there are some companies (mostly generics) where standards are not kept as well. FDA performs inspections, but budgets are limited, so there are some lapses. Another issue with outsourcing to India or China is safeguarding proprietary information. There is very little patent protection. Personally, I would avoid any generics from India's Dr. Reddy's. They have a poor record with respect to quality issues.
Generally, most companies put together their own drug products. This involves mixing the API with stabilizers, binders, absorption enhancers, and the like. Packaging is often done in the same facility, but it is not uncommon to ship the bulk drug product to another facility within the company or to a third-party for packaging.
Do you have specific products that concern you? You can PM me on Facebook, and I will try to check them out.

Thanks Smokey, it was more of a generic question rather than a specific drug or pharma. There was a FB discussion going on and some seemed to imply that the US market is serviced by NAFTA made drugs, not by drugs from the near or far east. I was positive some drugs were sourced from India or Pakistan.

Not an answer for this but an interesting observation. There are tmes when I need a quick acting antihistamine, esp as I go to bed (like in a a bed away from home that might have a dust on it that's an issue. I learn this as I get into it. Chlortrimeton (sp) works well except the generic brands costng 1/3 as much work far better than the brand name. So much better that a box of the brand name will sit for years until I am caught out without a generic.

I am guessing the brand name has buffers to stretch the effect uniformly over the 4 hour period and the the generics pay far less attention to that and hence my body sees the full effect much faster. In practice, the generics often work very well to squash allergies that have already been noticed whereas the brand name, acting slower, is in catch-up mode and I miss a good night's sleep.

(I understand the core medicine resides in the liver and hence bad in the long run so I do my best to use as little as I can. I've already polluted it enough. Acetone and polyester resin.)

Dale,
I am not aware of licit drugs sourced from Mexico. There are some that come in from Canada, like the Premarin API, but as far as I know, most are sourced from Europe, Asia, or the US.
