Gravel ride down in Arkansas. One of my buddies saw this

Driver of a pickup roars around a group of cyclists, looses control and puts the truck on its side in a ditch.

And we are riding gravel to try and avoid this schitt….I would have left her there and ridden away.

Reminds me of one first years in Vancouver area.

Riding fast out on a popular local TT section with a gale blowing in my back.

Double tanker truck tried to pass me while also trying to make the right turn to fuel station. Completely misjudged my speed. He almost flipped his setup trying to make that right in front of me. Could have slowed but wasn’t going to give him an inch. Younger wilder days.

And yeah she looks fine I might have left her too. Although that could induce it’s own karma.

There is certainly an argument to be made that by helping her, you could have changed her attitude toawrds cyclists....totally get that.

But my guess is that my adrenaline would have been so high, that I would have just laughed at her and ridden away.

Oh that is not the argument I was making. I am totally convinced that her attitude cannot be changed LOL. More thinking along lines of random future encounters, or a moment where one might find themselves stranded (or lost, like often happens to Dale) and might require outside help.

I'd have definitely laughed but also sprayed her with expletives while trying to offer help. Couldn't just ride away from a scene like that.

I also reserve the right to share the pictures and videos of said incident to not only the police but also her insurance company.

There's a video of her climbing up a ladder to get out of the truck and then back to terra firma.... hilarious! I think there was a fair amount of chastisement going on by some of those present and she was not happy about being the center of attention.

OC, I will ignore the burn since I was stranded, not lost. At least not the episode that garners me so much mocking
