Dawn Patrol ride

A handful of guys started a Wednesday and Friday 5:00am ride that rolls from a park a couple miles from my house. Anywhere from 5 to 12 show up, we do 25 - 30 miles at a solid pace with a stop at a coffee shop about an hour into it where we chill out and lie to each other for 20 minutes or so about everything under the sun. It might get spicy a time or two but if anyone drifts off the back we regroup. One of the best ride I get to do. Nice way to seat the day

My club did dawn patrols for a while. Mostly the dads with young kids as it’s the only time they had some freedom.
Just say no to dawn patrol.

Use to do that on MTN bikes. Although we’d stop for coffee on the way. Now, I do it weekly on Zwift using Discord. My 17YO even joins in before school. Maybe he will continue next year away at college?
