I am in dire need of some new race material (DVD's) to ride my trainer.  I have watched older grand tours, up to the TdF 2006, so many times I simply cannot take it anymore.  What grand tours over the past few years have ended up being pretty exciting?  I've only kept track via news outlets, and not close attention at all, so I have no idea which races may have been close, brutal, exciting, etc.  Thoughts?

the '12 Giro was pretty exciting, a 3-way race IIRC, a lot of attacking and shadow boxing.

The Vuelta 2012 where Rodriquez got robbed by Contador in the end was exciting.
Speaking of 2006, when Bettini won Lombardia a couple of his solo descents were epic! I remember him in another race on some descent where he just flicks his bike back and corrects a line that would have impacted a wall with injurious results...he has some mad skills. He was descending so fast it made my palms sweat to watch.

remind us how Contador robbed Rodriguez. I thought Rodriguez got third and just.

Is there video of Tirreno - Adriatico from last year? That was a great race.

2013 Gent–Wevelgem and Brabantse Pijl were good ones as well.

All have tons of Peter Sagan.

2010 Paris Roubaix, where Cancellara rides away from everyone, or try just about any of the spring classics
