I respecfully disagree. Lance brings out the black and white analysis because he did so much wrong, but like the author I see shades of gray. No apologies here. Like the article implies, I'm not saying he has been a net plus, not at all. But there was some upside. And the article got a detail wrong: LAF was/is about the relatively neglected area of survivorship, not cancer research. This was a plus, IMHO indisputable.
