My thoughts on this are two-fold.

1. Armstrong will be able to provide info on any dealing within UCI in the past. But with a new sheriff in town (Cookson) who everyone believes will have a fresh wind blowing through UCI those past dealings should pretty much be moot for cycling's future.

2. Brailsford/Froome could really help cycling come July 2014 by giving full disclosure about what Leinders' role was at Sky before they were forced to fire him. Unless and until they give that full disclosure the TdF press room will continue to provide challenges for them AND for cycling's image.

A key question is where should this commission put emphasis to really more cycling forward?

I did not read the article, but my thoughts are that Froome wants to know how to avoid getting caught.
