Pin, if you think that is ridiculous, check out the apparent IQ of the commenters! Also note that the writer is not consistent spelling the drug name. The article is 8 sentences. (Intelligence - a commodity reserved for military use Public displays of such subject the user to jail or death. All parties in that article, subject, author and commenters, are clearly innocent.)

Already three positive for same drug methylhexanamine. It won the drug of the year award in 2010:

I like the 4th positive at the games much better.

Ukrainian cross-country star Marina Lisogor appeared to have swallowed, trimetazidine a drug that is sometimes prescribed for heart disease (angina pectoris), but it may also help prevent a heart attack when using anabolic steroids. Therefore, it is on the doping list.

is anyone really shocked?
OC, I remember when the Biathlete's were bust for doping on Beta Blockers, they could go as hard as they wanted, but not accelerate the heart, and then their heart rate would drop almost instantly when they stopped and it was time to shoot

I take Beta Blockers for high b.p. If anything they slow me down. Can't get my heart rate up, I will crash and burn.

The situation is not dissimilar from Belgian dominance in cyclocross. The perception of dominance can be created if the competition fails to show up. Its not a good sign for the sport.

Doping purists rejoice! Shame and banishment to the evil doers!
A swede men's hockey player was nailed for pseudephedrine, even though he told the IOC he was taking it and was supervised by team docs. They pulled him just before the gold medal game and are holding his silver medal.
What justice is being served by this farce?
