I guess all you can do is do your best to monitor PED use, and take serious action when busted. The result, hopefully being that few enough do it that it's possible to compete at a high level with resorting to its use.

I still think the sport is filthy dirty. I just dont see how you can be at the pointy end of the peleton during a three weeker and expect to kick ass in the high mountains repeatedly against guys who are in all likelihood "flying under the radar" by microdosing. Shit if I wanted to win and I thought microdosing would get me that final 5% I'd be very tempted.

When the drugs were less sophisticated, you would watch the race, and guys looked human. They would crack, struggle on the steep parts, etc.
