Not messing around!  Now, I'll bet a lot of files were deleted before the election "just in case" (I don't think the officials overseeing the years of UCI corruption are entirely stupid).  Cookson had no say over that.  But having the corporate investigators jump in as soon as he was elected?  He gets my thumbs up, big time.

I agree, it was a very smart move - glad to see it. They also grabbed the backups, so it's possible that, if there were any deleted files/emails, they could be recovered in some cases.

With a couple of computer geeks, hard drives, & backups. It may be difficult, but something somewhere is going to show itself.

Not too difficult if they just deleted the files. A lot is still probably there if done recently. Best bet is to remove and replace the hard drives and destroy them.

delete doesn't necessarily mean delete. hope they have some good hackers on staff.

Reformat should do. My kids have old laptops from supplied by IT from my work. Pretty sure they are clean
