Once again Idaho voters showed that they don't care what candidates do in office or how dishonest they are, if they have an R next to their name they get elected and reelected.

One genius that a TV reporter talked to said "I always vote party line Republican, and I did that again today because change is good." What?!

Republicans have long for real change. In facts lots of it. Might cost them the rental of a Brinks truck to get that change to the bank, but it is still good.

once again, voters made some very puzzling choices. We are being told that there's no way that R can win any national elections but they seem to win the majority of local and state ones.

But at least in our state they were smart enough not to vote for both dueling gun referendums. I'm guessing the gun shows in Coeur d'Alene will get a lot of business from our neck of the woods in the coming days.

Huck, I can't decide if Inhofe is really that ignorant or just a good actor (making big money from his polluter friends). but no one is that dumb are they so he must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Chinook, I had a guy tell me that he wouldn't vote for the D candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction because she would try to take our guns away. WHAT?! No single person/politician can take your guns away, the SPI doesn't have anything to do with making laws about guns, back to the above paragraph, can anyone be that dumb?

Honestly, I don't know how any middle/working class person in Idaho can vote R unless their only two issues are guns and abortion because Rs in Idaho are all about big money (maybe the 3% at the top) so that leaves a lot of us out.

"can anyone be that dumb?"

Voters - yes. Politicians - no, they have an agenda.

The other day I saw CBC special on US elections centrered on a Kentucky diner with your typical cross-section of blue colour workers, loggers, truckers, etc.

The chasm between what was high on their mind (economy, jobs) and how they chose to vote R (guns, same-sex marriage, terrorism) is let's say interesting (mind-numbing is probably a better word). I don't know any other country where voters vote against their own self-interest to the degree that it is happening in US.

Those that pull the strings behind the big curtain have certainly fashioned us or U.S. unthinking masses to their liking...
