most likely the first of many, including a self-pardon. At least the POTUS pardons are only for federal crimes. It looks like the orange one has committed numerous state crimes which are beyond its reach.

Ah yes the pardoning of criminals, another one of those weird rites of passage of an outgoing president. Only if he were to try to pardon himself would he step out of realm of his predecessors.



Also perhaps funny, lots of rightful indignation that 45 was until a day ago hampering the transition of power. But then of course Biden isn’t officially the new king yet. The college of electors has to get together for that formality. Time to get w 21st century. Of course here in Canuckistan some faraway queen or at least her local representative (the Governor General) has to give us permission to form a government so there’s that.
