Fingers crossed. As of now Monday and Tuesday are forecast to be dry and upper 40s to 50 degrees. If it holds, the first rides on the new bike will happen. Oh, yes. They will happen.

Where to?

What are you comparing against? (i.e. what is your old bike?)

Of course you realize that this is absolutely torture for an old guy who lusts after a new bike and gets the evil eye from the wife when the' new bike' question arises every now and then....sigh

I'd settle for the time to ride any of my (old) bikes. I'm spending a lot of time fixing a house to sell, and dreamed of bicycle riding last night. I have not been on a bicycle since early January.

Enjoy, Thinline!

Well, I woke up to about 2-3" of new snow today, rain expected later, then a storm that was supposed to stay south is now on track for little old Vermont with about 5-10" of snow expected Saturday overnight and through the day Sunday. Sigh. Maybe Tuesday will happen. This is a crazy late winter/early spring up here. Two nights ago we had below zero temps.

Probably just a 20 mile jaunt at lunch break from work if I can pull it off.

CP, the old bike is a Paketa, magnesium frame.
