One of the true innovators in our sport, Steve Hed, passed away last week after a cardiac event. He was apparently on life support for a few days, but with no sign of recovery, he was taken off last Tuesday and passed. Hos contributions to the sport are countless. Really sad news.
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

Sad. I can honestly say that my Hed Jets are my favorite wheels of all time.

I got HED Ardennes when I had my Seven built. Very nice riding wheels and they stayed nice and true all season on Vermont's less than stellar pavement conditions.

Another kudo to the Ardennes rims and his larger body of work. Ingenuity (?Enginutiy?) is a wonderful legacy. I'll remember him every time I bomb a gravel road downhill but don't have to turn a spoke nipple afterwards because his vision realized truly works. Thank you Steve Hed! If there is a spirit world where you are looking back in at us corporeal beings, please know your legacy lives and touches our lives.
