Thanks for the link. Well written piece about a very impressive guy.
The bike is interesting, too: looks like a brifter and a bar end shifter, one lever operates both brakes, and a sort of receiver for his prosthetic arm, which stays on the tops?

that cx race i posted has highlights of some old guy race and one of the competitors had only one leg. the fact that there were barriers and a huge stair run up didn't stop him. they showed him hopping the barriers but how he did the steps i don't know. it takes 'hardman' to a whole new level. pretty inspiring.

That asiide, the Alps leg of this race is what I'm doing next year. Reduced to riding against one legged hardmen and unicyclists; that's what my life is coming to. LOL!
