So having been here a long time and I think some a-fib stuff Just wondering about those who have gone on to a pace-maker? How does it work for cycling or just day to day living for those who have a pace maker?

My brother has a pace-maker. He doesn't ride, but the model he has responds to demand. It pulses faster just climbing the stairs. He's had it for over a couple of decades; we paid attention to Y2K concerns. Newer ones should even be better.

Good luck with the adjustment and hope it works out.

For what it’s worth there’s a couple of active pro soccer players with a computer running their heart. So sports should be a definitive possibility although I’m not sure if that depends on make and model. Ie is there Trabant versus Ferrari versions of these things?
