I occasionally interchange Campag 10v cassettes with Shimano 10v without any issues. I think the spacing is off a bit but it's close enough to not cause an issue. Do the 11v cassettes interchange (not spline, but functionality)? 'fanks |

Granted, I'm not exactly sure, but considering the spacing has remained mostly the same between 10-spd and 11-spd, the amount of variance has likely been reduced. Shimano went 1.85mm wider on their 11-spd. I'd think that the two systems are super, super close now, leading me to believe they would work fine. |

Probably pretty darn similar in terms of tooth width and spacing of the cogs. There is only so much space available. I am guessing that Shimano derailleurs may work better with Campagnolo cassettes than the other way due to the centre on top pulley of Shimano. Interestingly, I recently changes from ten speed XTR to eleven speed SRAM XX1. I had to straighten the hanger because the system was shifting badly. Worked fine all crooked with the Shimano setup. |

I run 10 speed campy shifters with 8 speed shimano cassettes that seem to run smoother than 9 or 10 speed cassettes (less missed shifts if any at all) but I've been curious how well 11 speed shifters work with shimano cassettes. |

I've run various combination of 8, 9, 10 speed Campgnolo/ Shimano shifters and cassettes without much issue. I've got a Campy 11v bike and want to run one of my Shimano splined wheels w/ Shimano cassette if it will work. There isn't a Campy hub available for the wheel yet. |

Yes, 11 speed wheels are now interchangeable. No more Campy/Shimano wheel worries. Use whatever 11-speed you want.

In fact I think Leonard Zinn is writing a compatibility report but one trick for some Shimano 10 speed wheel owners. Where a Campy freehub body is available to swap with a shimano free hub that you swap a campy for the shimano and use a campy 11 speed cassette. It is easier than converting to a shimano 11 speed body and re-spacing and re-dishing the wheel. |

meh, even easier than I thought... I even ran a Sram 10v wheel mated with my 11v Chorus shifters and it worked well enough for a decent ride. |
