That's really cool. Creative way of attaching the front light to your head-tube. I like that! What fork are you running?

And I see you are another Arione Tri rider! Best saddle ever.

Thanks Hab.

I am reluctant to sign up on Facebook, but tell Barry/bluezurich hi from 79pmooney!

Ever thought about going steel on the fork? A little heavier but a sweet ride and they can look quite classy. My first ti ride was '89 on Gwyn Jone's personal Merlin mountain bike. Bike felt so "right" (except those bars!) that I never considered anything but steel when I ordered my TiCycles 18 years later. I wondered over the months while I waited the build if I was being a fool to want steel. Now i have two steel forked ti bikes and don't even think about it until I see a carbon forked one.

The long cantilever beams of the steel forks are a wonderful match to the less stiff but far better supported rest of a ti frame. They just feel right.

Thanks! It’s an Enve road fork. I couldn’t find another Alpha Q when I needed a new fork so an Enve it was. Not much out there anymore for carbon forks for a traditional head tube! I found out about that saddle from CK! He sent me one years ago after my Rolls stopped being comfy! Only saddle I use now.

I’ll get a steel fork when I get a new steel bike, maybe. Carbon forks are great on both ti and steel frames IMHO.

Only 4800kms this year? You seem to be riding lots. Particular on weekdays when all of us lowlifes have to work.

Nice! Love the big drop bars and white tape (it's a geezer thing).

I’ve always loved 3T bars and when I built this up I figured I would try carbon. So far I’m very happy with them.

What kind of plastic bike are you riding?

I bought another Trek Madone. My LBS built up a nos 2014 5.9 frame with Ultegra 6800, compact crank (50/34), Hed Belgium C2 wheelset. I supplied my own saddle, stem and pedals and he sold it to me for $2900. I like it. I bought it last Dec, almost a year old.
