OC: Can't argue with the math. I'm used to using my home in NY as the east coast reference point, not a city that's due south of Ohio. Sorry to have doubted you.

Think I'll stick to using the bike bra for the half cross-country trip. Thanks for all the tips and suggestions. We are getting pounded with rain here in the mountains. Since we're under a state of emergency (French Broad river flooding, mudslides, rockslides, etc.), insurance companies won't issue new policies until that's lifted. This results in us not being able to close on our house until this stuff all gets situated. What a freakin' pain! But I really shouldn't complain since a LOT of people have it a million times worse at the moment.

I moved to the Carolina's first in the fall of 2004 when Hurricane Ivan was rolling through and am now leaving 14 years later during yet another hurricane. Kinda weird that way.
