| Not sure what happened with Sagan today but he was clearly frustrated by lack of team support and being outnumbered. |

| I agree that Sagan ended up in a bad position due to his lack of teammates in the finale. I think he rode as best he could considering the circumstances. OPQS had the tactics right but the wrong personnel. They needed Terpstra in that late break. |

Well crap... finally got to see a little racing and my internet connection blew up about 45 minutes before the race ended (jeez I need to get back to civilization). Sounds like a hell of a finish and hat tip to Keith - he called it.
A little disappointed with Sagan (though probably not as disappointed as HE is) - thought he'd run a little better than that. In my minds eye I had him in the final selection and, if not winning, being a big part of making the race. |

I had two of the three riders I. The podium, plus picking Fabian for the win. Boonen let me down....
I'm thinking I am gonna roll with the same three next weekend, though.... |

My internet streaming was bad, too.
Bein replayed that last 55k a few hours after the race, with a long commercial break that blacked out the last time up that big next-to-last climb. Back from commercial, Canc is up the road with total mayhem behind. WTF kind of coverage is that? |

I had to go streaming shopping.
I really preferred Magnus Backstedt's commentary to Sean Kelly's, but the feed was terrible so I had to go with Eurosport.

I think Cance knew that if it came down to a sprint at speed, Sep might be able to overhaul him. That's why he waited as long as he possibly could and checked with DS how far the pursuers were behind. Smart play on soggy legs.
I had about 10 tries before I got a descent Sporza feed. I quit the Eurosport one after first commercial break...can't have commercial breaks in cycling or soccer coverage...anyone should now that. |

| I agree with OC. I do not think FC was the strongest one at the end of the race, but tactical nous got it for him. You got to have a LOT of self confidence to let such big a gap develop so close to the end of the race so that your apparently strongest competitor (Sep struck may as the one with the most gas left) will burn his matches to close it... |
