This hit me hard.  I never heard of her and don't follow MTB racing, but this reminds me of Nichole Reinhard a few years ago.  As last year's European U23 CX champion, it sounds like she shared a few of Nichole's gifts on two wheels.  And like Nichole, way too young.

Maybe it is because I had a huge scare Thursday that still feels very fresh.  (I'll post about it in good time.)  Maybe it is the still fresh RW death.  My best wishes to Annefleur Kalvenhaar's family, friends and competitors.
