HA! I love it now go after the IOC, not that it means anything do any of these guys fear FBI and LL's Justice Dept? And as far as all the persecution complex defenders of cycling go.....oh that's right none of those guys made the jump, (thank god) never mind...................] http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-fifa-extradition-20150527-story.html

Dear FIFA-

Thank you for taking the title of "Most Corrupt Sporting Organization" from us. It is nice that the microscope is on someone else for a change.

Sincerely-

All IOC sports have some of this but FIFA is the model all others aspire.

Long time coming but I gotta wonder, what's the US DoJ stake in this?

Didn't a whole bunch of banks just get off the hook with a financial slap on the wrist for criminal manipulation of market?

Hopefully this is the shove FIFA needs to depose Blatter and get a fresh wind going.

OC, the U.S. wanted one of those world cups. Maybe a long memory? Or because FIFA is such ripe, low hanging fruit that they just could not resist. And tweak Putin's nose, too.

Tweak Putin's nose. LOL - stat's gotta be it.

Guess who is getting caught up in this? Nike. Burn on LA. Burn again.

gotta love Putin's statement about the US over reaching it's boundaries, did we even have anything to do with this, other than not being awarded the WC for that year?
and Qatar? seriously? someone was saying these teams could be playing in 120 degree weather?

Good one CK, this makes cycling look very good!

I jumped out of my chair at the news. 4 days after he is elected he announces his retirement. Sponsor pressures? evidence of personal involvement with corruption?

My guess is a combination of both....I know Coke and McD's were already expressing sentiments re: their involvement with FIFA. But I'm guessing someone who got nabbed last week and saw Blatter's pompous BS last week said "Oh, Fook that....he is going down" and dropped a dime.
