"Tire inside a tire"....holy rolling resistance, Batman! That will certainly slow you down. re: sealant - yup, take the valve core out, pour in some sealant (I use way less than the recommendations, FWIW), replace the valve core, inflate and ride. Every so often (like twice a year), dump some more in. hence the reason to avoid some of the sealants like Stan's...they wil dry out over time and become hard inside the tire. No bueno.

Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

Thanks CK - last question - can I fill the spare tubular that I'll take on my ride with sealant before hand and ride around with it all folded up? or does the sealant have to go in right before you inflate the tire?

No reason you can't pre-fill a spare....but since the tire is stationary and folded, I dunno how well you will get the sealant to disperse. I personally would probably not fill the spare and just use it to get home.

Stronz- I don't have prostatitis, but I did break my hip back in '05. My saddles have to be perfectly level. I am always constantly messing with my saddle height. No fun.

messing with the saddle is a pain in the ass. (couldnt resist) -- obviously a really individual thing. Hey if you can find a position that works you go with it.
