We had our first snow - rode the trainer, intervals - supposed to be up to 60 by the end of the week - planning what will most likely be my last long outdoor ride of the year.

Got some skate skis - combined with 200km of trails literally off our rental doorstep I am hoping for a fun Winter.

Where are you these days Huck - back in Methow?

Bike to Work Week so 10 x 24.6 kms for the week. Too bad the weather is nice, brings out all the riffraff.

Up until this week, weather in Chi-town has been magnificent. Most days in the 60's - 70's all October.

Weather turned sharply yesterday though...Sat was sunny and mid-70's, but a front came in Sat night and it rained all day yesterday.....now it is only ~50*, dropping down into the high-40's for later this week. Blech....
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

OC - back in the Methow. Looking, grudgingly, at building again - don't know if this old man still has the patience or endurance - but it's the best way to get what we want for what we can afford.

Looking at a property on the trail system, so skiing out the door is quite attractive, unless of course I discover I like the warmth of the southern latitudes in the winter ; )

Yeah, it was beautiful - the new owner loves it - which makes me feel good.

To be honest, we became house rich, cash poor with it, and we are finding that we want to be closer to town, the ski trailheads, and on one floor.

Just being a baby about building - I know how much I stress when working on a project - my type of personality.

My health has been on the mend from the last 7 years and I am just able to get back to some decent cycling - and hopefully skiing - hopefully by spring, I'll feel like I have building in me.
