After a long search, German Sprinter Danilo Hondo has signed a 1-year contract with the Czech team PSK Whirlpool. Last year he rode for PVC Serramenti, but they did not renew his contract for 2009.
This means Hondo will be riding along side Patrik Sinkewitz, who found a home on the team after he finished serving his ban for doping.
"We have a rider that fits perfectly with our team. He is an experienced sprinter, who can also get over the mountains," said team manager Vladimir Vavra on the team's website.
Hondo is set to debut in the Tour of Turkey that takes place from April 12-19.
