Cervelo TestTeam let out a collective sigh of relief after yesterdays Tour of Flanders, not for the second place finish of Heinrich Haussler, but for the condition of Thor Hushovd.

The Norwegian was involved in a massive crash during the sprint for third place, and found himself toppling over into the barriers on the side of the finishing straight.

His team reported today that contrary to new reports, their rider came out relatively unscathed with no broken bones. Hushovd was out on his bike for over an hour today, and will decide with Director Sportif Jean-Paul Van Poppel on whether to ride in the semi-classic Gent-Wevelgem on Wednesday.
