Claudia Häusler wins Allgäuer Strassenpreis Günzach

With a great team effort today, Claudia Häusler was able to win the Allgäuer Strassenpreis Günzach. Joining her on the podium was Emma Pooley in third place. Second was taken by Bianca Purath (Equipe Nürnberger Versicherungen).

"It was a great solo win from Claudia today," Sports Director Patrick Banfi stated at the finish line. "Claudia went together with Bianca Purath in a break way at about the half way point of the race. At the second last hill (about 10 km ahead of the finish) Claudia attacked and went away. She finished solo with about 2 and a half seconds over Bianca Purath. The entire team worked really well today and controlled the race for Claudia."

"I liked the race very much and I am very happy with my victory today," said Claudia Häusler after the awards ceremony, "but now I am also a bit tired after the tough race."
