Monday, August 31, 2009 Cunego Extends with Lampre by Nick Mulder at 9:10 AM EST   comments Categories: Pro Cycling   Damiano Cunego has extended his contract with Lampre-NGC until the end of 2010. The former Giro di Itlaia winner will be joined next year by under 23 world time trial champion Adriana Malori, double junior world champion Diego Ulissi, Alfredo Balloni, and Enrico Magazzini. Cunego, 27, had a successful spring where he placed top ten in all three Ardennes Classics. He is currently racing the Vuelta a Espana in preparation of the World Championships in Medrisio, Switzerland, where he is hoping to improve on his silver medal from last year.
