Sebastian Langeveld (Rabobank) will be the sixth and final rider representing the Netherlands at the upcoming World Championships to be held in Mendrisio, Switzerland on September 27.

National director Leo van Vliet added the strong classics rider to the list that already included Robert Gesink (Rabobank), Karsten Kroon (Saxo Bank), Koos Moerenhout (Rabobank), Lars Boom (Rabobank), and Johnny Hoogerland (Vacansoleil).

Langeveld has had several impressive results in the last weeks that signal he is in good form, winning the GP Jef Scherens, two stages in the Sachsen Tour, and ending third in the general classification in the Eneco Tour.

Today the Dutchman ended second to Steven de Jongh in the Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen.
