Janez Brajkovic has confirmed that he will be following Johan Bruyneel and Lance Armstrong to the RadioShack Team for 2010. The 25-year-old Slovenian rider was offered contracts from several teams, but he chose to ride for a team operation that he is familiar with.

"I had other offers, but I wanted to stay with Johan Bruyneel," Brajkovic said in a press conference according to Bicikel magazine. He had offers from the new British Team Sky, Rabobank, and Team Katusha.

Brajkovic admitted he had an offer from Katusha that was more lucrative than that of the deal on the table from Bruyneel, but he wanted the opportunity to be a part of Armstrong's bid for an eight Tour de France crown.

"Money isn't everything," added Brajkovic. " I expect that this team will have the same atmosphere that there was on the Discovery Channel team, and I liked it. I also have more influence on my race program at RadioShack, and of course, I would also like to ride Tour de France, even if only as a supporting rider."

With this signing Bruyneel continues to build a team capable of delivering Armstrong to the finish line in Paris. The only question the remains for Team RadioShack is whether or not the Texan is capable of pedaling his way back to the top step of the podium.
