Sven Nys has become a member of the UCI cyclocross commission, replacing his compatriot Ervin Vervecken, who will retire at the end of the season.
Nys will soon start his responsibilities. "Next week Saturday, at the World Cup in Nommay, Nys will participate in his first meeting," Peter Van den Abeele, coordinator of cyclocross at the UCI, told Sporza.
