Katusha core heads to Turkmenistan

Team Katusha is set to begin their work for next season at a training camp in Asgabat, Turkmenistan from the 22nd to the 28th of November.

Team boss Andrei Tchmil along with sport directors Dmitri Konychev and Gennady Mikhailov will also be making the trip. Some of the training rides will also have a distinguished guest, Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedow, who is also a passionate cyclist.

The Russian team is bringing along some of its biggest names to meet the president, including Filippo Pozzato, Sergey Ivanov, Vladimir Karpets, Alexander Botcharov, Pavel Brutt, Mikhail Ignatyev, and Nikolai Trusov.
