The Milram team with all its 24 riders is currently doing a tough program on Mallorca. Sessions are up to six hours long, with different groups building, depending on season planning. One faction will have to get going sooner than the others, as Milram sends a team to the Tour Down Under (January 19-24, 2010)

Team manager Gerry van Gerwen was quite happy with everyone's commitment. “We called together our complete new squad, to prepare ourselves together for the important work in the coming season,” said team manager Gerry van Gerwen. “The guys together with our sporting staff and the physiotherapists and mechanics have completed a tough program.”

In addition to the training, there are team meetings and individual talks. Everybody was able to do the whole program, except Artur Gajek and Robert Förster, who suffer from a cold and did a reduced schedule.

“We can look with confidence to the new year. The signs are there, starting with the meetings to the technical settings on the bikes up to the daily training – everything has gone perfectly,” Van Gerwen said. On Tuesday, all riders will travel back to their families. "All of the riders, sporting staff and our personnel have earned a good Christmas celebration with the loved ones.”
