RCS Sport has postponed the presentation of the 2010 Tirreno-Adriatico that was set to take place this Thursday, a move done in support of the late Franco Ballerini's family. Ballerini died tragically yesterday when the Renault Clio rally car he was co-piloting crashed into a wall.

Race organizers have also decided to dedicate the race, scheduled for March 10th to the 16th, to the memory of the late cyclist. Evidence of the crash, which includes the in-car video camera,  was sent to the prosecutor of the Republic of Pistoia for examination.

Funeral services for Ballerini will be held tomorrow at the Church of San Pietro e Paolo in Casalguidi, Italy.
