Spain's Gutierrez wins Tour of Benelux prologue

Jose Ivan Gutierrez, of the Caisse d'Epargne team, won the prologue of the Tour of Benelux here on Wednesday.

The Spanish cyclist, last years winner, is on good form and set the standard with a time of 5:31.09 minutes over the 4.4 kilometer stage barely edging out French rider Cyril Lemoine from Credit Agricole. Norway's Edvald Hagen, of Team Columbia, came in third.
