Taylor Phinney wins his second consecutive U-23 Paris-Roubaix

Pursuit World champion rules the cobbles again

Taylor PhinneyAmerican Taylor Phinney took his second consecutive victory in the U-23 Paris-Roubaix today.  Phinney, who rides for the Trek-Livestrong team, came to the race fresh off winning the overall at the Olympia's Tour taking an impressive four stage wins along the way.  The 19 year old pursuit World champion arrived at the Roubaix velodrome with Belgian Jens Debusschere and Frenchman Fabien Taillefer and was able to outsprint his companions.
