Bonnet switches from Bbox Bouygues Telecom to Française des Jeux

Frenchman gets two-year contract

William BonnetWilliam Bonnet will ride for the French Française des Jeux starting next year. So far the Frenchman was riding for the Bbox Bouygues Telecom team. He started his ProTour career with Crédit Agricole in 2006.

Bonnet was also linked to the Cervélo TestTeam, but has now decided to stay in France, according to www.wielerupdate.nl. Bonnet has a good sprint and he won one stage in Paris-Nice this year. He took the bunch sprint in the stage from Contres to Limoges, ahead of Peter Sagan and Luis León Sánchez.

Bonnet started his career with the Continental team Auber 93 and won a stage in Paris - Corrèze for them in 2005. As a junior he was also successful as a track rider, becoming French Champion in the individual pursuit in 2000.
