Four-time World Champion making some big changes going into next season

Four-time World Time Trial champion, Fabian Cancellara, has had a busy off-season complete with flying lessons. The rider, who has earlier this fall, confessed a desire to focus his attentions on the Ardennes Classics in the future, still remains silent on the question of his destination for the 2011 season.

Speaking to Blick.ch, the native of Bern held firm to his oft-used response of the fall: "My new team will announce my arrival in the next few weeks."

At this point, there seems little question that when said team announces Cancellara's signing, it will be the new Luxembourg pro cycling project. But, of course, it hasn't been confirmed as yet.

Along with a new team for 2011, Cancellara will also switch to a new management company for the new year. The Flanders/Roubaix Double winner had worked with IMG Switzerland for his entire racing career, but will move over to the upstart Pool Position Switzerland agency next season.

"After ten years of good cooperation with IMG, I wanted a new challenge for my development for the rest of my career and afterwards as well. This young, dynamic agency with its exciting structure can guarantee me that."

The 29 year old is the company's first superstar signing. The newly founded management firm is based in Zurich and hopes to work with and help better position top stars from various areas, including sport, film, music, fashion, and show business according to Blick.ch.
