Sprinter Angelo Furlan has singed a one-year deal with Team Lampre-NGC for 2009.
The Italian has been a pro since 2001, and has 11 wins to his name. His highlights include two stage wins in the 2002 Vuelta a Espana and victory at the 2004 edition of the Coppa Bernocchi 2004. In 2008 Furlan won stage 3 of the Tour de Pologne and stage 4 of the Etoile de Besseges.
"Joining a top level team such Lampre-NGc is for me a huge joy," said the Italian,"I think I'm in the right place where I can find satisfaction: I feel good and I'm sure I can obtain important results."
"We're happy to welcome a powerful sprinter with great speed. We noticed Furlan during the Coppa Bernocchi in 2004, now the time has come for him to wear the blue and fucsia colours of Team Lampre-NGC."
