Saturday, January 31, 2009 Baldato makes the move to team director by VeloNation Press at 12:29 PM EST   comments Categories: Pro Cycling   Fabio Baldato has signed on to the Lampre squad as a team director for 2009. 2008 was the Italian's last year as a professional where he rode for the Lampre team. His best result of the year was a respectable 10th place in Paris-Roubaix - the same result he had in 2007. The forty-year-old was born in Lonigo, Italy and had been a professional rider since 1991 with 42 professional victories to his credit.
