German rider Patrik Sinkewitz will have his return to the peloton from a doping ban delayed three more weeks.
The 28-year-old German was expected to start in the Tour of Mallorca with his new Czech team PSK Whirlpool, but instead they will hold a training camp on the Spanish island.
After so much time away from competition he told the DPA, "I have trained hard and I feel fit. I'm ready and want to know where I stand."
Instead Sinkewitz will make his reappearance on the 28th of February at the Gran Premio dell'Insubria in Switzerland. The Tour of Murcia in early March will be his first stage race following his ban.
