British rider Jonny Bellis highlighted his talent early on with European titles plus third in the world under 23 road race championships in 2007. The Manx competitor’s pro career was however threatened in September 2009 when he had a bad scooter crash, causing serious injuries, a coma, lengthy hospitalisation and a battle on his hands to return to the sport. He’s been working hard since then, showing a lot of determination and is continuing to build form.
