Front derailler on my cross bike just couldn't shift will into the large ring or dropped the chain. Tried rival, then force, adjusted it, etc Lbs tried new outer chainring, still very little improvement. Finally switched to a dura ace front der - no problem now. What gives? Rear der and the shifters all work fine. In fact, i like doubletap particularly the right shifter which you can pull near the bars for sprints. Something about the cross chain rings or flex of SRAM front derailleurs? I am fine with my setup but found it odd especially since it was eom spec for my frame. J
