To quote a famous philosopher, "Deja vu all over again." And yet another former using rider turned management and yet another scandal. Of course, management never had a clue. And the Golden Gate, despite its name is green.

I debate in my head: is it better to have simple lifelong bans for every rider who dopes and all involved, knowing you are sentencing young men who have sold their souls to cycling and do not have tools to fall back on but now have a peloton of clean riders who have known only clean riding or let riders, coaches, etc serve penalties then resume their careers knowing you now have embedded in the system folk who now first hand how much of a boost the good drugs are.

The team manager was a doper, so who wouldn't expect he would expound the benefits of doping to his team?

So it comes to a head at the start of the country's Tour. The Tour will go on but major players are missing. I believe this came about because of a tip or two.

What became of the pre Tour de France raids on Bahrain? Ideally there will be prosecutions or apologies. Stone silence is equivalent to accusation without proof.
