Thursday, February 26, 2009 Sinkewitz owes former sponsor 100,000 Euros by VeloNation Press at 7:30 AM EST   comments Categories: Pro Cycling, Doping   German cyclist Patrick Sinkewitz has returned to the sport with the Czech continental team PSK Whirpool after a one-year suspension. Sinkewitz tested positive for the use of testosterone in June of 2007, and was given a lighter sentence since he admitted to doping and cooperated with the investigation. His former sponsor, Förstina mineral water, sued the cyclist for over 300,000 in reputation damages over the incident.
