The sparks are settling and the velodrome starting to cool down after some very exciting racing last week at the Gent Six Day, won this year by home favourite Iljo Keisse and Glenn O’Shea (Omega Parma Quick Step).
The event is done and dusted for another year but the memories will linger for those fans who attended, and for the riders themselves. Also persisting are the images from this year’s event, which capture the flat-out racing which was on show during each of the six days of competition.
